Introduction
Chapter 1 of a thesis is the introduction which makes the foundation of your paper. The chapter contains the background information of main research themes ; the problem statement; research objective/ questions/ hypotheses; significance of the study and expected limitations.
Specific Objectives
By the end the module, you should be able to:
- Describe various sources of the research literature,
- Critique a theoretical review in literature,
- Explain various sections of an empirical review,
- Discuss different variables in a conceptual framework.
Expected Outcomes
By the end of the end of the session, you should be able to draft chapter 2 (reviewing related literature) of the thesis.
