Introduction
Data analysis section brings sense to the research questions raised in chapter 1 by answering them using research findings. In this module, we cover data presentation techniques for both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. In addition, we also learn how to write the research report for qualitative findings and statistical research output.
Specific Objectives
By the end the module, you should be able to:
- Discuss the different data presentation techniques,
- Describe the various quantitative data analysis methods,
- Describe various qualitative data analysis methods,
- Explain some research findings interpretation techniques.
Expected Outcomes
By the end of the session, you should be able to draft chapter4 (Data analysis and Interpretation) of the thesis.
Mode of Delivery: Online and/or face to face. Open to choice of learner
Pre-requisite: Module 2 (drafting chapter 1) and module 4 (research methodology)
Target Learners: Masters or Doctoral level candidates in social sciences.
